Whitley County 4-H Campsite Auction 2024

1. The auction company holds no other liability for these items offered expressed or otherwise, the campsites offered are for rental purposes only and are the sole property of Whitley County 4-H Inc.
2. Lot 56 in this auction are for reference ONLY and are NOT BIDDING LOT.
3. This auction will run from 4:00 pm 1/28/2024 through a staggered ending starting at 5:00 pm 2/4/2024.

5. Any questions about the actual contract or campsites should be directed to Whitley County 4-H Fair Board.
6. Any Bids under $150.00 on electrical sites or $75.00 on non-electrical sites will not be recognized as winning bids.
7. If you wish to raise your own bid, please contact Aaron at the number above before the conclusion of the Sale.
8. ONE MAJOR CHANGE THIS YEAR PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!! At the conclusion of the sale you will receive a text message from Square App which will come through an 833 area code you will need to pay for your purchase through this app. NO OTHER PAYMENT METHODS ARE BEING ACCEPTED!! You will have 12 HOURS to complete this transaction!! If you are declined or do not complete the transaction your bid will not be considered completed and someone from 4H will contact you or we will move to the back up bidder if communication hasn’t been met within 24 hours of the conclusion of the sale.
9. This auction will be conducted through the PROXIBID platform and a 15% buyers premium will be added to your final bid to cover the online and credit card fees associated with this event
10. At 5:00 pm on Feb 4th, the first lot will close with 2 minute extended bidding if bidding occurs within final 2 minutes of closing. The next lots will close incrementally 1 minute apart from 5:00 until all lots have timed out.
11. By registering and receiving a Paddle ID through Proxibid you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this auction and the terms and conditions as follows.
12. The Layout for the auction sites is on a non bidding lot number 56.
13. Any No-Sale Sites will be available first come first serve at the extension office, 1 week after the conclusion of the sale. They will be priced at $200.00 for electrical sites and $100 for Non-Electrical Sites.

2024 WHITLEY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS – CAMPING SITE RULES/REGULATIONS

BY REGISTERING TO BID AND RECEIVING A BIDDER PADDLE ID, YOU ARE LEGALLY AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOTH THE AUCTION AND THE RENTAL AGREEMENT BELOW. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• All Electrical Sites are numbered 1-40 and are 15’ in width and various lengths. Non-Electrical sites are numbered 41-50 and are 15’ in width and various lengths. All sites will be available to 4-H families to bid on through online auction platform Jan. 28th through Feb. 4th.
• 4-H Fair week sites must be reserved through this on-line bidding program. The minimum bid for electrical sites will be $150 and $75 for non-electrical sites. Your Credit/Debit Card on file when you register to bid will be billed immediately at the conclusion of the auction. If your card is declined at that point the campsite will not be reserved under your name until payment is made. If that is not done within 24 hours the campsite may be passed to the backup bidder
• Any other rentals of campsites that occur during non-fair week days/nights will be reserved through 4H Inc Fair Board at $25.00 per night
• Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your reservation prior to 21 days before the start of the fair the campsite fee will be reimbursed. If the renter cancels within 21 days of fair start date they will only be entitled to 50% of the campsite fee
• Fair week campers and trailers may be brought in on Wednesday at noon and not before!
• Fair week campers and trailers must be removed from premises by noon on Friday at the conclusion of the fair!
• Any Camper or trailer parked in their rented spot before or after these times will be subject to a $25/day fee
• There are NO CAMPFIRES allowed but BBQ Grills will be allowed.
• No One under 18 will be allowed alone in the campsites without parental supervision after 11:00 p.m.
• NO ALCOHOLIC Beverages may be brought onto or sold on the fairgrounds at anytime
• No Gathering or Partying atmosphere after midnight will be allowed. Lights out will be enforced at 12:01 a.m.
• Any Trash accumulated by your campsite is your responsibility to haul home or additional charges will be assessed.
• 4-H Clubs Inc. Reserves the Right of Refusal
• Limit of one camper or trailer per site
